But it’s more likely that you’ll actually use your pitch at a cocktail party or a business luncheon. No matter where you are, you need to be able to explain what you do in an interesting, compelling, engaging way that makes the listener say, “Wow, tell me more!” And guess what - reciting your mission statement rarely creates that kind of reaction!”
