Most conferencing solutions include features that help the presenter display text, audio and video messages. The conferencing solution may or may not have the audio integrated with the solution. Some have VOIP, Voice Over Internet Protocol integrated with the solution. This enables the participants to listen to the presentation with or without headphones using the computer mike and speaker.
Some conferencing solutions require the presenter to speak through a telephone line while presenting the slides online for the participants to view. The participants also can interact with the speaker using a telephone line. International participants often prefer the audio integrated webinars over the telephone combination. This depends on the affordability or otherwise of the international calling rates.
There are many low priced telephone services available for such interaction. However, the VOIP option gets more people to sign up for the webinar and attend it easily. The presentation also is more effective without the connectivity issues associated with the telephone lines.
