One of the first Web Conferencing companies on the scene. We've been hosting web conferences and offering web conferencing solutions for over 6 years. Web conferencing is our primary business, not just an 'add-on' service in hopes of adding a few dollars to the corporate coffers. PresentPLUS licenses web conferencing technology from various vendors, customizes the web conferencing technology and offers both front-end and back-end client specific features and services for the web conferencing application. We’re positioned as a web conferencing application service provider, or ASP, in the larger web conferencing space. The foundation of a web conference is a slide show - usually PowerPoint, occasionally PDF. A tool box of presentation and interactive features is also available. Most typically - Lobby Slides, Chat, Annotation tool(s) for the slide show, Polling, Exit Survey. Assuming you still want to hold a WEB conference, let’s discuss the many types of services and presentation features available. Types of Providers - Backbone Providers, Resellers and ASPs A backbone provider owns the technology. Prices are usually, but not always, lower than from a reseller but support services may be limited. A reseller generally can sell a variety of different backbones at good prices, but doesn’t often much more of a service model. ASPs - prices are probably at the higher end here, but they typically offer a variety of support and special services in addition to access to a variety of platforms.
